The PaceSaver Plus III

The PaceSaver Plus III is one of the more popular models put out by Pace Saver. Part of this popularity is thanks to the options offered to users. In fact, the Plus III actually comes in three different varieties:

Plus III Premier

This is the standard model Plus III. The Premier comes with the option for either nine inch wheels or ten inch wheels, and there are a few minor differences depending on which wheel size you settle on.

The nine inch wheel can reach a top speed of just over four miles per hour, where the ten inch wheel reaches a speed of just over five miles per hour.

The larger 10 inch wheel size also serves as a better shock absorber, for a bit of extra comfort and a somewhat smoother ride. Plus, the larger 10 inch wheel size also has somewhat better traction and is more capable in varied terrain.

The maximum weight capacity is three hundred pounds, making it more than enough scooter for most users.

Plus III Atlas

The Atlas is the heavy duty version of the Premier and has a few advantages and a few disadvantages. The maximum capacity of the Plus III Atlas is 350 pounds and can reach a slightly higher top speed than the Premier.

All three models of the Plus III can go 20-30 miles on one charge of the battery, however, the larger models will require a little more electricity to properly charge, so you might want to be prepared for your electricity bill to be just a tiny bit higher.

Plus III Titan

This is the real heavy duty version of the Plus III. The Titan can handle up to 450 pounds, maximum weight, and like the Atlas, has a motor with one and one quarter horsepower. The seat is a bit larger to accommodate people with larger body types. The heavy duty suspension also allows for a smoother ride than either of the other two Plus III models.
