The Importance of the
Maximum Incline Rating (MIR)

• MIR – Maximum Incline Rating
An indication of how stable a scooter is while ascending and descending on an incline range at rated weight capacity.

• Less than 10º is a low MIR.

• Scooters used on inclines with a low MIR are

risky!
    √Risky for you to ride
    √Risky for you to own

• Avoid the "5º Gap"

√The chasm between 5º MIR scooters and 12º
    MIR PaceSaver Scooters.

• High MIR scooters provide critical protection

on inclines.
    √Protection for you.
    √Protection for people around you.

• PaceSaver scooters deliver an Extra Degree of

Protection.
√12º MIR (Incline stability is determined per US
    Ansi/Resna Dynamic Stability test).
    √Risk is vastly reduced.
√Your health and life is protected

Our scooters have not changed, the test procedure has. PaceSaver is now using the latest Resna Dynamic Stability rating system.

Currently, we are again seeing Asian made scooters tipping over completely at their rated stability incline rating. If all manufacturers certify to this standard, we can eliminate the loopholes that are allowing dangerous products to injure people.

We at Leisure-Lift encourage dealers and consumers to demand to know the incline test standard, for their own safety, both physical and financial.
